General Information and Policies

The following sets forth general information concerning our products, as well as our terms and policies. For clarification of any item in this section or information other than that presented, please contact your Continental Loose Leaf representative.

SPECIFICATIONS: All binders are constructed with the exposed rivet, flat back style. The concealed rivet style is available on most binders at additional cost. The standard binder is 3 ring with opening and closing boosters using French calf virgin vinyl over a stiff 100 pt. chipboard. Flexible covers can be obtained at no extra cost.

MINIMUM: Although there is not a minimum quantity order, it should be understood that the same set-up charges occur in each order, large or small. Consequently, the unit price on smaller quantities will be substantially higher.

PRODUCTION TIME: (10-15) working days is standard. In case of order requiring shorter delivery, check with factory.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

ROUTING: We will ship from our factory via the best available route, taking into consideration the speed of delivery and cost. Shipments under 100 lbs. are normally sent United Parcel Service. If you do not specify routing or carrier, we will make this selection for you. We can only assure date of shipment, but cannot be held responsible for arrival date.

FREIGHT CLAIMS: If damage should occur in transit, contact delivering carrier for inspection. Do not send shipment back to factory without authorization. All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. The legal responsibility passes from us to the customer when the merchandise is consigned to a carrier. We will gladly supply any information and/or copies of documents we may have.

CANCELLATIONS: All orders are considered firm and must be cancelled in writing to Continental Loose Leaf, Inc. Any work already completed before we receive notification of cancellation will be billed at cost.

INCREASE OR DECREASE OF ORDER: Any notification of increase will be treated as a separate order and billed accordingly, unless no work has been started on the original order. Any decreases in quantity will not be subject to charge, providing no work has been started or materials ordered.

OVERRUNS OR UNDERRUNS: As all orders are custom made, and due to difficulty of running exact quantities, we reserve the right to ship 5% over or under on each order and bill accordingly.

*Note: Delay in proof approval may cause rescheduling of job.

ARTWORK AND TYPESETTING: Silk screen prices are based on camera ready, color separated artwork furnished by customer. Any artwork, typesetting, resizing or retouching needed will be done at $35.00/hour plus materials.

QUOTATIONS AND PRICING:

	All quotations, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days
	All binders quoted with screening are subject to review based on actual artwork submitted for reproduction

CREDIT POLICY

TERMS: Payment shall be net 30 days from date of invoice.

To extend credit on new accounts, Continental Loose Leaf requires an approval application for credit or COD terms.

Exceptions to the above may include personal knowledge of the account by the salesman or generally accepted Blue Ribbon Status of the account in the community.

For accounts 30 days or more past due, additional credit can not be automatically extended, unless prior arrangements have been made with our accounting department.
